📖 Verse Of The Day

🧠 Devotion
All throughout the Bible, God’s people are shown meeting with Him early in the morning. There is something about the quiet before the day begins that makes it easier to hear His voice.
When God provided manna for Israel in the wilderness, it appeared early each morning. Exodus 16:21 says, “Each morning everyone gathered as much as they needed, and when the sun grew hot, it melted away.” God could have sent manna at any time, but He sent it in the morning. It was a lesson that His people needed to seek Him daily and not wait until later.
David wrote, “My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up” (Psalm 5:3). David knew his strength came from God, and he wanted to begin each day by setting his heart toward Him.
Isaiah 26:9 says, “With my soul I have desired You in the night, yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early.” Isaiah wanted to seek God first, before distractions or worries filled his mind.
Even Jesus followed this example. Mark 1:35 says, “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went to a solitary place, where He prayed.” Jesus had long days filled with people, teaching, and miracles, but He still made time to be alone with the Father before anything else.
Starting your day with God does not mean you must spend hours reading or praying. It simply means giving Him your first attention. Before you scroll, plan, or worry, pause and let Him speak. When you begin with His Word, you start your day with truth. When you pray first, you begin with peace.
Proverbs 3:6 says, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” When you start your day with God, you are acknowledging Him before anything else. You are saying, “God, I want You to lead me today.”
Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, “The Lord’s mercies are new every morning.” That means every day, God offers a fresh start and new grace to those who seek Him.
This is why we started Daily Devotion — to help you begin each morning the same way the great people of faith did, by meeting with God first. You do not have to search far to find Him. He is already waiting for you every morning, ready to renew your strength and speak to your heart.
Be like the biblical figures who sought Him early. Start your day with God, whatever that looks like for you. Because a day that begins with Him always begins with peace.

🙏 Prayer (Guided by ACTS)
When you’re not sure how to pray, A.C.T.S. gives you a simple path to follow: Adore, Confess, Thank, and Ask.
Adoration: Lord, You are good and faithful. Every morning Your mercy is new, and Your Word gives life.
Confession: Forgive me for rushing into my day without you at times. Help me put You first and quiet my heart before You.
Thanksgiving: Thank you for a new day, for Your presence, and for hearing me when I call.
Supplication: Lead me today, God. Let Your Word guide my thoughts, words, and actions from the moment I wake.
In Jesus name, Amen
