Good Morning. Thank you to everyone who clicked the ad yesterday, you really showed up! We love you all, and today’s devotion is all about that same kind of love.

📖 Verse Of The Day

🧠 Devotion

If you could summarize the entire Bible in one lesson, it would be this: God is love.

That’s not an opinion or an interpretation. It’s exactly what Scripture says in 1 John 4:8 — “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

Love isn’t just something God does. It’s who He is. Every story in the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, points back to that truth. The creation of the world, the covenants with His people, the cross, the resurrection, and even the final pages of Revelation — they all reveal the same thing. God loves humanity deeply, perfectly, and personally.

When Jesus was asked which commandment mattered most, He answered with absolute clarity. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment,” He said. “And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:37–40).

Think about that. Jesus said everything in the Bible — every command, every prophecy, every law — hangs on love. It’s the thread that holds all of Scripture together.

In the beginning, God created out of love.

When humanity sinned, He pursued out of love.

When Jesus died, He redeemed out of love.

And when He returns, He will restore out of love.

That’s the heartbeat of the Gospel.

Love is what makes sense of everything else. Faith matters because of love. Obedience matters because of love. Forgiveness, mercy, and grace — all of it flows from love. Without love, religion becomes empty. Without love, even our best efforts fall flat. Paul wrote it clearly in 1 Corinthians 13:2: “If I have faith that can move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.”

The greatest lesson in the Bible isn’t about rules, timing, or prophecy. It’s about relationship. God created you to know His love, receive His love, and reflect His love to the world. That’s what gives your life meaning.

So if you ever feel lost in the complexity of Scripture, come back to this:

God loves you. Always has. Always will.

And the best way to honor that truth is to love Him back and love the people He’s placed around you.

Because in the end, that’s what it’s all about — love started the story, love finished the story, and love still writes every chapter in between.

🙏 Prayer (Guided by ACTS)

When you’re not sure how to pray, A.C.T.S. gives you a simple path to follow: Adore, Confess, Thank, and Ask.

Adoration: God, You are love itself. Everything You do flows from Your goodness and grace.

Confession: Forgive me for the times I’ve failed to love like You do. Help me let go of pride, bitterness, and impatience.

Thanksgiving: Thank You for loving me first, even when I didn’t deserve it. Your love gives meaning to everything I am.

Supplication: Teach me to love others the way You love me - fully, freely, and faithfully. Let Your love shine through my words and actions today.

In Jesus name, Amen
