🌅 Good Morning.

Thank you for all the support lately. Every message, every prayer, and every person who keeps showing up reminds us why we do this.

Today’s devotion is about how many people don’t want faith pushed on them, and how you can work around that!

📖 Verse Of The Day

🧠 Devotion

Francis Chan said, “We should be so joyful from God’s grace that others respond by saying, ‘I wish I had your God.’” This idea lines up with what Scripture teaches about how believers should live in front of a watching world.

Many people today do not want religion pushed on them. They do not want arguments, pressure, or debates about belief. Because of this, one of the clearest ways to show Christ is through a consistent, steady life. The Bible repeatedly teaches this approach.

Jesus said in Matthew 5, “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Light works by being visible, not forceful. It does not need to be pushed into someone’s face. Jesus teaches that a faithful life is enough for others to notice God at work.

The early church is a strong example. Acts 2 describes believers who prayed together, shared what they had, and served each other. They lived simply and consistently. Verse 47 says they had “favor with all the people,” and because of that, the Lord added to their numbers daily. Their impact came from the way they lived, not from trying to pressure others into belief.

Peter gives a similar teaching. In 1 Peter 3, he writes, “Always be prepared to give an answer to anyone who asks you for the reason for the hope that is in you.” Notice the pattern. People ask because they observe hope first. Scripture expects the life of a believer to create the questions, not arguments or persuasion.

Paul also shows this. In Philippians 4, he instructs believers to “rejoice in the Lord always.” This is not about pretending everything is fine. It is about staying grounded in God. Later he says he has learned to be content in every situation through Christ. A stable and steady attitude stands out in any culture, especially one that is skeptical of religion.

Acts 16 provides a real-life picture. Paul and Silas were in prison with their feet in stocks. Instead of panicking, they prayed and sang hymns. Scripture notes that “the prisoners were listening.” Paul and Silas did not preach at them. Their response made the difference. Their trust in God was visible even without words.

This is the type of joy Francis Chan is describing. In Scripture, joy is not excitement or emotion. It is a settled confidence produced by God’s grace. Galatians 5 lists joy as a fruit of the Spirit, meaning it is something God grows in a believer’s life. Because of this, it naturally shows.

In a world that does not want Christianity forced on it, a consistent and steady life may be the most effective witness. Joy rooted in God points people toward Him without pressure. Over time, someone may quietly think, “There is something different here,” and that difference leads them toward the truth of who God is.

🙏 Prayer (Guided by ACTS)

When you’re not sure how to pray, A.C.T.S. gives you a simple path to follow: Adore, Confess, Thank, and Ask.

Adoration: God, You are faithful, steady, and good in every season.

Confession: Forgive me for the moments when my life doesn’t reflect you clearly.

Thanksgiving: Thank you for Your grace, Your spirit, and the quiet joy You give.

Supplication: Help me live in a way that pints people to You without pressure. Let my life shine with consistency and truth.

In Jesus name, Amen
