📖 Verse Of The Day

🧠 Devotion
Most people think glorifying God means doing something impressive like preaching, leading worship, or starting a ministry. But the Bible shows that it is much simpler than that.
Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 10:31, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” He chose the most ordinary examples possible to make the point. Glorifying God is not about what you do. It is about why you do it.
We often split life into two parts. Church, prayer, and worship feel spiritual. Work, school, and chores feel normal. But God does not see that divide. If His Spirit lives in you, then every part of your life can reflect Him.
The early believers in Acts lived this out. They glorified God through simple things like sharing meals, helping one another, and staying united. They did not wait for a big moment to serve Him. They treated every moment as an opportunity to honor Him.
You glorify God when you forgive someone who hurt you. You glorify Him when you work with honesty even when no one notices. You glorify Him when you show kindness, patience, and self-control in difficult situations. You glorify Him when you choose humility instead of pride.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Glorifying God is not about trying to look holy. It is about living with integrity so that your actions quietly point others to Him.
The truth is that glorifying God rarely looks dramatic. It often looks like staying patient when you want to snap. It looks like doing the right thing when it costs you something. It looks like being grateful when life is unfair.
Every small act of obedience brings Him honor. Every moment of trust brings Him glory.
So whatever you do today, do it with purpose. Work hard. Be kind. Stay honest. Live like His presence actually matters.
You do not need a stage or a title to glorify God. You only need a willing heart.
When you live that way, even the most ordinary moments become worship

🙏 Prayer (Guided by ACTS)
When you’re not sure how to pray, A.C.T.S. gives you a simple path to follow: Adore, Confess, Thank, and Ask.
Adoration: God, You are worthy of all glory and honor. Everything good comes from You.
Confession: I admit that I often make life about me instead of You.
Thanksgiving: Thank You for giving me purpose in every part of life, even the small things. Thank You that everything I do can bring you glory.
Supplication: Help me live with intention today. Let my work, my words, and choices all point back to You.
In Jesus name, Amen
